Living in London and working as a dessert chef in 2004 I found I wanted to expand my horizons and thought it was time to give cake decorating a go. I hadn\u2019t expected to fall in love with it so quickly!<\/p>\n<p>I have developed a strong passion for designing and creating \u2018edible art\u2019 and it is so important for me that not only should the cake be visually stunning, it must also taste incredibly delicious. With my background as a dessert chef I think I\u2019ve found a winning combination. The \u2018ooohs and aaahs\u2019 I hear from clients when they see their cakes for the first time gives me immense satisfaction. The cake is often considered the finale of a celebration and it should have that memorable \u2018wow factor&#8217;, which will have the guests talking.<\/p>\n<p>The name Queen of Cakes does not come from me believing I am \u2018cake royalty\u2019.
